Les Prix Energies Citoyennes s'internationalisent!
Voilà 3 ans que COFELY France a mis en place les Prix Énergies Citoyennes et cette année ils s’internationalisent !
Séduit par cette initiative, la délégation Hollandaise de Cofely GDF SUEZ a choisi de lancer le prix adapté aux Pays-Bas et de récompenser aussi les initiatives ambitieuses et innovantes des villes.
Le concours était ouvert aux 418 communes du pays et en septembre 62 d’entre-elles avaient soumis leurs initiatives. Au total ce sont 98 projets qui ont été présentés pour répondre aux 3 catégories du prix :
- la catégorie politique, qui définit l’ensemble des actions de la ville permettant de réduire les consommations énergétiques et d’avoir une démarche ambitieuse de développement durable (41 communes correspondaient à ce prix) ;
- la catégorie projets, qui met en évidence les projets déjà opérationnels, achevés ou déjà générateurs de résultats en faveur de la lutte contre le réchauffement climatique (37 communes correspondaient à ce critère) ;
- la catégorie plan, qui récompense les différents axes stratégiques mis en place par les communes pour réduire les impacts environnementaux (20 communes correspondaient à cette catégorie).
Le 14 décembre 2011, 3 villes ont été récompensées par la remise du prix de la catégorie dans laquelle elles excellaient.
Cette année, nous avons l’honneur de recevoir la délégation Hollandaise qui se déplacera spécialement pour la remise des prix le 4 avril 2012 au Conseil Economique, Social et Environnemental. Nous pourrons ainsi échanger avec les représentants des villes de Assen (Politique), Beesel (Projets) et Dordrecht (Plan).
Nous sommes heureux et impatients de les accueillir et de leur présenter les initiatives françaises.

It is now three years since we established the Citizens Energy Award (Prix Energies Citoyennes) and this year it is going international!
Very receptive to the concept, the Dutch delegation of Cofely GDF SUEZ has chosen to launch its own version in the Netherlands and also to reward promising initiatives proposed by ( Dutch?) cities.
The competition was open to the 418 municipalities in France and by September 2011 62 of them had submitted their initiatives. In total 98 projects were presented for the three categories of prizes:
- the policy category, which defines all the actions of the city to reduce energy consumption and to achieve a real sustainable development (41 municipalities qualified for this prize);
- the projects category, highlighting projects already operational, completed, or already generating results in the fight against global warming (37 municipalities corresponded to this criteria);
- the plan category, which rewards the various strategies implemented by municipalities to reduce environmental impacts (20 municipalities corresponded to this category).
On December 14 2011, three cities were awarded the prize in the category in which they excelled.
This year we are honored by the presence of the Dutch delegation which will travel for the specific purpose of attending the awards ceremony on April 4 2012 at the Conseil Economique, Social et Environnemental. This will also give us the opportunity of meeting the delegates of the cities of Assen (Policy), Beesel (Projects) and Dordrecht (Plan).
We are pleased and looking forward to welcoming them and to presenting them the French initiatives.
